I don’t need to tell anybody that 2021 was a challenging year, and especially for many of us in the food and hospitality sector. For me, it was in equal measure rewarding and challenging at different times, and I felt like I handbrake-turned into Christmas for a well earned few days off.

Just before Christmas I was humbled and delighted to be featured in the winter edition of the WIFI (Women In The Food Industry) magazine. The magazine is always a good read, focused (as you may have guessed) on women in the food industry, but with great features for anybody interested in food or hospitality.

In the feature I talk about three things that I’ve learned in thirty years of cooking for a living. You can see an excerpt from the piece here.

My thanks go to Mecca Ibrahim and the team at Women In The Food Industry for a lovely end to a hectic year.
