Steve Love is an award-winning chef who influences and inspirers culinarians from all parts of the globe. He has travelled extensively around the world, researching many types of regional cuisine, and seeking the next big food trend. He believes that health and wellbeing is one of the big influences in food trends for the future and believes in a healthy lifestyle which includes a balanced diet. 

With 40 years of experience in the foodservice and corporate food development arena, Steve is a passionate speaker who is equally comfortable hosting or presenting culinary demonstrations and food tasting sessions. He chairs, speaks and comperes at conferences and competitions across the industry. He also sits on the management committee for the Craft Guild of Chefs Graduate Awards, which develops young chefs of the future.

Steve served in the Royal Navy, where he trained as a chef, and he had the honour of serving on the Royal Yacht Britannia. After leaving the high seas, he became an accomplished chef in his own right, managing a multi-kitchen site and moving into development for the world’s leading food manufacturer.

He lives on a narrowboat and it has inspired him look at how to utilise a weekly shop and develop ways of cooking for one during the lockdown period, with “interesting” results.
