After months of legislation and planning, Natasha’s Law comes into force on 1st October 2021. Many caterers are scrambling to catch up; in September some news outlets, including ITV and The Independent, reported that 80% of caterers felt that they were not yet ready for the new legislation.

We’ve been helping caterers, manufacturers, and food service organisations to plan for this day for some time now.

If you’re looking for help, we’ve produced a Natasha’s Law Checklist for Caterers, which, we were delighted to see, has been featured in the latest copy of Masterchefs magazine (left).

If you who don’t have access to Masterchefs magazine, we’ve made the checklist available as a free download via its own webpage here.

For those needing further help, we’ve also developed a Natasha’s Law Ready programme to help organisations move forward with confidence.

We see Natasha’s Law as a necessary piece of legislation to ensure improved food safety for everybody. However, like any such law, it requires a great deal of commitment by everybody involved to make it work. Crucial to this is the right recipe and menu management system, which is why we’ve partnered with Kafoodle this year, and we see the Kafoodle system as an essential tool for any caterer looking to address Natasha’s Law. More about that here.
