Last week I was contacted by The i newspaper for my comments on the Scotch Egg debate, and I was delighted to find I was quoted in the weekend edition of the paper.

The feature discussed the opinions of a number of Scotch Egg producers, chefs, restauranteurs, and others, including Mrs Beeton and Heston Blumenthal.

The question, in case you have missed it, revolves around whether or not a Scotch Egg is a substantial meal, and therefore qualifies to allow restaurants, cafes, and in particular pubs to open their doors to serve alcohol. However, I think there may be a different question to ask.
